Some mouses don't have 3 buttons...
I don't feal my hand after my first game....
Make Options and in there an option to hold mouse button to shot or something like that...
When you are fighting a boss, you can fight him forever and gain big points...!

Dino quoted bold:
Some mouses don't have 3 buttons...
But who doesn't have the 3rd mouse button today?

I don't feal my hand after my first game....
Make Options and in there an option to hold mouse button to shot or something like that...

That will ruin the playability Dino (maybe)!

When you are fighting a boss, you can fight him forever and gain big points...!
For Matt: Make boss to move left and right or something.

Nice, I like those type of games! (lots of blood )

yes, holding the mouse button will ruin playability, and edi is right, who doesnt have 3rd mouse button these days? this is a big tip, killing the monsters will barely get you any points whatsoever during the first 3-5 levels, the main point gain is in the bonuses. 8)

I have thought about making the bosses move around, and my friends agree it should be done... it make take a day or two to re-balance it, as i was about to post the full version, it has been balanced... but making the bosses move will make them less sheilded by the monsters, so im not sure, ill add the movement in, and then do a few test games to see how dramatic the change is...

btw, has anyone managed to completely beat the beta version? and does anyone agree on re-creating the title page? please let me know, its important...

Game is great, some of my friends couldn't pass the first boss but me, the intelligent one, came to 9th level from first try :)
Tip: ignore the creatures coming from boss, they all come inside each other when they follow you so your only way to kill the boss is to follow his moves in the firing range and shot only at him..... i hope you know what I mean!

Main Menu is nice (atmospheric) and the Tutorial should be another menu key named like "How to play" aka "How to kill"

And please, make some FPS detector so IF FPS goes bellow 10 THEN don't make blood effects..!?

All in all, very fun! Contact me when you finish the game so I can make you the Setup (if u want).

edi is exactly right about how to kill the boss, the monsters act as a shield, so just shoot around them at the boss, thats the way to kill him.

I appreciate the ideas edi, but i have been thinking of remaking the game, maybe like a mutant mahem 2. I would incorperate all the suggestions i get, and the game would be more playable. I would create a system where the more you kill, the more the monsters come. What would happen is the resolution would be raised, and the area you play in would be more detailed (cliffs, patches of dirt, clouds, animals) and things like that. It would start out relatively easy, and you would work you way up. You wouldnt get your new weapons from having many points, you would get them as pickups... after you finish the level, an information screen will appear showing your accuracy, #of shot/#of hits/#number of kills etc.

Thats just an idea that i have had, and really want to work on, please post what you think of this idea, so i can start developing it. the main things i need to know are:

-would the graphics be redrawn?
-if so, would they be higher quality?
-what kinds of aspects need to be altered about the game?
-should i remake the soundtrack?
-if so, what kind of music should be used?

so just answer those questions if you think a second version should be made. thanks

You definitely should make a sequel!!!

-would the graphics be redrawn?
Those pixels(enemies) need to be little scaled down..
And the main character, I think 'it' looks funny, like a robot or something

-if so, would they be higher quality?
yes.. but doesn't need to be like Doom 3 nor Invaders

-what kinds of aspects need to be altered about the game?
...altered you say, it's a whole new game, all ideas listed in you last post are great!

-should i remake the soundtrack?
no, maybe to make a few more songs and a random song picker in the game...

-if so, what kind of music should be used?
:) something that will suit the game..like fallen future (everything destored, fallout)... doh

Ok, I'll make you the Setup for this one..
