Sunday, 19. June, 2005. 30th edition

Another week passed, and another 800 people saw our web site. This week was a little bit "slow" compared with the last week, but never the less, the numbers are still good. All in all this was a standard week.
In case you didn't know, the number shown below are average numbers for the past 7 days.
• 180 (H225, L153) page loads (below M average(245)) (631 - R)
 • 116 (H147, L104) unique visitors (below M average(140)) (335 - R)
 • 92 (H118, L80) first time visitors (below M average(108)) (287 - R)
 • 24 (H29, L15) returning visitors (below M average(32)) (52 - R)[/list:u]

Although it may seem this was a poor week, because all the stats are "below" this is not the case. I believe that all the stats are "below" because of tremendously good visiting last week. This had a mayor influence (increase) on the M average. Last week comment ended with "however the numbers are starting to normalize", and so they did.
But you never know what's going to happen next week.

Record (18 days first) - CaveShip
GS Inspector first (12th day)
I have a feeling that this is only the beginning of a very long era. Very big odds are that 7 days from now, we'll have a new record holder. GS Inspector 4822 (4228)D, as you can see, made a hell of an impact this month, creating over 4000 D. By the end of the month he is very likely to reach 5000 D. WOW!
Respectably in second position is Find 5 3543 (647)D. Maybe not as great as GS Inspector, but still pretty good numbers from this game. Better than usual is YamboExtra 2686 (636)D, 6th on alltime position, but doing really good this month on 3rd position.
3rd on all-time position is Panic Invaders3392 (559)D. And 4th is guess who? Still batlling like crazy this two... 4th is Caveship 3374 (456)D.

Thank God for our sponsors (+plus hosting) who provided us with some additional bandwidth. Thank you guys, you are the best!! If anybody is reading this text, and needs any kind of hosting. If I may suggest anyone...PLUS hostingwould be the one. In case you didn't know, Plus hosting is a Croatian company, and the website is, ergo, also in Croatian language.
This month we had an enormous number of downloads (9729) which is an average of 512 a day. WOW! Can this be better? :) Sure it can. It can allways be better.

Enjoy in the rest of your weekend!

And I was thinking how come the graph was so low. You disabled it on saturday or something like that, right?
Good to let me know, I am not going to put it next weekend ;)

Sunday, 26. June, 2005. 31st edition

Another Sunday and another stats report from me. It's been a slow week, no records were broken. It's a good thing that I don't write daily stats anymore, because there wouldn't be much to write about. From today I am going to write all the numbers during the week, not just the average. Here are the stats...
• 1,349- 193 (H238, L142) page stats (below M average(242)) (631 - R)
 • 844- 121 (H140, L98) unique visitors (below M average(142)) (335 - R)
 • 675- 96 (H119, L78) first time visitors (below M average(112)) (287 - R)
 • 169- 24 (H33, L19) returning visitors (below M average(30)) (52 - R) [/list:u]

Ok, here's an interesting info. The month's average went down, and the week's average went up. But, (a very important word) not enough to go in the green. Last week's poor results ended up in lower the months average but not that much to make a mayor change. This week was a little better but still not enough to catch up the craziness of the week before last week. I am sure you remember, that's when all the records were broken. By the end of this month instead of weekly report, I am going to make an extensive "half a year" report. I think we can get some very interesting stats from there.

Record (19 days first) - GS Inspector
GS Inspector first (19th day)
Oh, yes! A new record holder. GS Inspector 5593 (5000)D, as you can see, had over 700 D only this week! That's amazing, and it looks like a small board office game like that made an impact. Just like Find 5 3741 (845)D did for the past 2 months. The only difference is Find 5 did it like a fast car, and GS Inspector did it like a Lamborghini Diablo. 5000 D in less than a month...we are going to remember this for a long, long time.
Until that record gets broken off course :D. BTW that's the first smiley I put in my summary. I try to keep my coolness. In normal terms, still doing very good Yambo Extra 2902 (852)D. This months second game, this is interesting because Yambo is one of our older games. 1 Key games also made an impact of their own. They all made it to the alltime top-list, gathering over 200 downloads. I am going to mention only the best one (by the stats). The most downloadable 1 Key game is Minigolf 380 (321)D. Still there is a lot of time for these games to advance. The very interesting thing here is that all the 1 key games have allmost the same numbers, and they advance almost the same! Could the name have such an influence? Don't the screen shots mean anyhing?? Are this games downloaded most where there are no screenshots? These are the questions that remain to stay unanswered. If you are smart game developer, you may learn something from these questions.
Edi's monthly summary is coming fast, and I look forward to reading it.

I'll see you next month in my half-year report. Till then enjoy your flight!

Ok...promise is a promise. Since tomorrow I won?t write my weekly report I did something else. I wrote a "half a year" report. No talking just hard core statistics. Eat your heart out statistics fans!!
Half a year!

5 small reasons why I like numbers:
 • Tell their own little story

 • They don't try to talk their way out of it

 • They are just cold hard blooded facts

 • One number is always the same, it is US who change the interpretaion (for example, today 1000 was good, tommorow was bad. But number 1000 is still the same)

 • They don't try to make things nicer, number 1000 is 1000 weater you like it or not. And not in a million years will 1000 be 999 just because it would suit you better.

And because of that I made an update of the half a year report. Again, I'll let the numbers do the talking.
There is only one thing that bugs me. How come "Gink In Trouble" always has around 400 D, never more or less???

Were you ever wondering, which of our games has the most overall number of downloads. Which game had most downloads during the year 2003, 2004, and even 2005. Which game was on top of every other game.

Answers to these questions are here.

P.S.
I apologize for some gaps which are the result of restarting the numbers, or lusing the data for entire month. The numbers before 2005 are not precise as Swiss clock, but nevertheless, are worthy of mentioning.

I consider myself to be an optimist, but the visitng of the site is simply terrible. Looks like hard work is a head of us... Forum, on the other hand, is doing just fine!
New record Unique Visitors in one day on forum was = 184, now = 198
New record First Time Visitors in one day on forum was = 137, now = 163
Stats
We are still waiting for the bandwith report. I think you'll have it ready by monday.

Nothing new here, GS Inspector still rocks, and Find 5 is still following him on second position like a faithfull dog. Crumbs of the table takes Caveship on third position.
